Community Leaders Forum - Sean Connolly

Once a month, community-leaders from around the state will be invited to SMSA to speak with our students about issues that affect students and their families. Students will develop questioning and public speaking skills by crafting and asking questions of community-leaders in a panel-like forum while also learning to speak with people whose ideas and decisions impact them directly. Further, the forum offers students the opportunity to see themselves as community leaders and become inspired to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.

On November 17th, we welcome Sean Connolly, former head of Veterans’ Affairs for the State of Connecticut.
