Welcome to SMSA, If you have received notification from the Regional School Choice Office that you have been selected to attend SMSA for next school year, you must complete the following steps.
STEP 1- ACCEPT your placement with the Regional School Choice Office— “Click on link below”
Failure to ACCEPT placement by the written deadline may result in loss of your seat at SMSA
STEP 2- Complete the Pre-Registration using the following link--
STEP 3 -Make a Registration Appointment by calling 860-695-6900 (after May 8th)
STEP 4- Secure and bring copies of the following documents ;
Suburban Registration Verification Form (ONLY FOR NON-HARTFORD RESIDENTS)
Driver’s License or Passport
Student’s Birth Certificate
2 Proofs of Current Address(Lease, Mortgage, Utility Bill, Pay Stub, Govt. Benefits, Vehicle Registration)
Special Education or 504 Documents (IEP or 504 Plan)
Latest Report Card
Official Transcripts for Students entering Grades 10-12

STEP 5- Arrive at SMSA (280 Huyshope Ave. Hartford, CT) at the appropriate time.
